This function allows you to select the sources by domain. By default, all sources are selected for each domain. For information sources requiring the use of a personal login,
you must fill in the authentication panel at the bottom of the setup page (not available for the guest account).
Selection of the search domains
By default, up to ten domains are available in the main search page (this figure might vary for some specific configurations or screen resolutions).
To select the domain as part of the search page, you need to tick the check-box next to the name of a domain.
If the system cannot display all domains, a warning message asks you to select fewer domains.

After selecting the domains to display, make sure you activate the proper domains for your search.
To do this, click the icons of the domain in the search page.
When using a personal account, the selection of domains applies to the current search. To use this selection for future searches,
tick Set as default at the top of the page.
Selection of the information sources
A domain comes with a predefined set of information sources selected by your local administrator. You can
view the content of each source by looking at the description and the list of supported attributes (move your mouse over the description to see a pop-up panel).
To deactivate one source, you must clear the check-box next to the name of the source.
To deactivate all sources except one, you must clear the check-box of the
domain, and clear the check-box of the source.
To select all the sources, double-click the check-box of the domain.

Information sources with personal login
ECIS searches remote information sources using the access rights of each individual user. This preserves the confidentiality of private documents while supporting enterprise-wide searches.
ECIS allows you to access your personal accounts for each data source without having to manually log in to each source.
Note: ECIS uses secure encryption to save and remember login or password information.
ECIS supports the following login types:
- Source-specific login to use when searching the site.
To do this, enter the user name and password in the text-fields next to the name of the source.
- Corporate login to use the same account as ECIS when searching the site.
To do this, tick the Account login check-box next to the name of the source.
